You’ll want to pack your bags and head to the beach after seeing this beach vibes sign!
Resident Artist, Karen Denning of From My Palette to Yours, made over a wooden sign to create a simple but super fun beachscape using paint and transfers. And you can do it, too!
To start, Karen made sure the board was moist to move the paint by using her Water Girl mister. Then, she painted the background with just three colors of Magical Chaulk Paint to create the beach look: Tropical Dream & Bon Bini Cocktail for the sky & ocean plus Glazed Donut for the sand. Simply perfect!
Then she added the wonderful details to her piece using the Fun Times rub-on transformation set. That’s right, the buggy, van, signs and foot steps all came from that one transfer page!
And, to finish it, Karen sealed the piece with Meltdown.
