We’d love to be immersed in this beautiful scene created by Resident Artist Karen Denning of From My Palette to Yours.
Classic silver and gold for the background, sweet pine boughs, the fawn!

For this project, Karen transformed a plain wooden board with paint and transformations.

For the background, Karen used Liquid Pixie Dust in Sterling and 24 Karat, applying in a stippled fashion with our Stipley brush first and then smoothing out with her Mop brush.
Those gorgeous pine boughs were lined by hand using our Leader brush and Magical Chaulk Paint in Christmas Cookie and Licorice as well as a little Key Lime Pie for highlights.
The fawn itself is a piece from our Winter Haven Transformation set. So sweet!
The snow flowers, snow, snow bubbles and snow flakes were painted using Magical Chaulk Paint in Marshmallow plus Sheer Beauty Glaze in the snow application for some transparency.

What do you think of this forest scene?
Will you try to recreate it for your own decor?
If you do, we’d love to see it!
Until next time,
