The fall is coming –

so let’s have fun with it!

Jill of Upsadaisies created a beautiful, drippy, boho-inspired porch sign for the season and we’re loving it!

Jill started with a plain board and applied Magical Chaulk Paint directly to it (no primer, no sealer) creating a very cool stain effect. For the “stain”, Jill used Magical Chaulk Paint in Watermelon Rind, Blackberry Cobbler and Sour Apple.

Next, she added more color in freeing drips! She mixed Candy Apple, Candied Papaya and Honeycomb in a 1:1 ratio with water to their own drip bottles. Then, she randomly dripped those colors from the top of the board.

Such a cool effect!

Next, she added pumpkins!

To create the pumpkin stack, Jill used a stencil with the Stipley brush and additional Magical Chaulk Paint. (Don’t think you can paint pumpkins? You absolutely can!)

This piece was so fun to watch come together and would be such a unique & interesting fall porch sign.
